The Beauty Institute is a beauty school with four Pennsylvania campuses: Ambler, Allentown, Philadelphia and Stroudsburg. Our career programs are:

Program length at The Beauty Institute:
- Cosmetology: 1,250 hours, which can be completed in as little as 10 months
- Esthetics: 4 months
- Nail Technician: 3 months
- Cosmetology Teacher: 8 months
We offer both day and night classes to help better fit your unique schedule.
Yes. The Beauty Institute is accredited by NACCAS, the National Accrediting Commission for Career Arts & Sciences. We publish our completion, placement and licensing rates for every campus and program on our FAQ page, calculated per NACCAS standards.
Our programs combine classroom instruction with hands-on experience in a professional salon setting. You’ll learn from experienced instructors, practice your skills on mannequins and classmates, and gain real-world experience working with actual clients under the supervision of licensed instructors as part of our student salon and spa.
No prior experience is necessary! Our programs are designed for all skill levels. We start with foundational training to ensure every student can build confidence and progress at a comfortable pace.
Yes! At The Beauty Institute, we believe financial barriers shouldn’t stand in the way of a promising career. Financial aid is available to those who qualify, including:
